Renato Sanches, Lille midfielder, has teased Arsenal and AC Milan that they are ready to move in January.
The Portuguese national team has a roller coaster career path. He won two Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich before a complete failure at Swansea.
The 24-year-old has rediscovered his form at the top. By returning to play excellently with Lille in the past season.
The Gunners have been link with an interest in the former Southern Tigers star. With Mikel Arteta looking to strengthen his midfield.
Most recently, Sanchez has admitted interest from the Gunners, including Milan, revealing he will talk to his representatives about potential offers.
“Milan and Arsenal might be interest. I’ve talked to my agent about this. But I can’t say anything more. I just know I’m ready,” Sanchez told L’Equipe.
“If the offer arrives I will assess it. Milan is a great club, old, classy, I like them a lot.”
Arteta currently has Thomas Partey, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Mohamed Elneny at his disposal to fuel his engine room.
But the Gunners boss could look to bolster his ranks in January as Granit Xhaka has been rule out until the New Year with a knee injury. While Partey and Elneny will be missing as they head to the African Cup of Nations.
