Atletico Madrid defender Stefan Savic, 30, suffered a knee injury early on in the 2-1 defeat to Mallorca, missing out on the final four games of 2021.

Atletico Madrid have continued to suffer from injury problems. Most recently, the Atletico team had to sacrifice Stefan Savic for the rest of this year. After the Montenegro national team’s defensive line came out of the 2-1 defeat to Mallorca on Saturday. According to a report from Asa on Monday 

Savic was substitute with a knee injury in the 10th minute of Saturday’s game against Mallorca. Before Argentine coach Diego Simeone is later given bad news. After reports, the 30-year-old will need around four weeks to recover and will be back in action in January. 

The injury means Savic will miss the last four games of 2021. When Atletico are schedule to visit Porto in the Champions League. The final group stage is on Tuesday, followed by three Liga matches against Real Madrid, Sevilla and Granada, and he will be ready to play against Rayo Vallecano in the Champions League.
